MY LOVE STORY WITH LITTLE YOGI
In the winter of 2016, as several of my friends and family members were about to give birth, I was struck by the clear dichotomy in children's fashion. Everything is pink or blue. While gender stereotypes in childhood were already part of my favorite subjects of study, I rather wondered about the impact of fashion on child development, but especially the integration of gender stereotypes. Why is the cutting of clothes different for boys and girls, why are some colors prohibited for one sex and not for the other, why, why, why?
I grew up in a sewing workshop. My mother is the queen of the DIY and I have always seen her work with her hands. On a Sunday, I arrived with my fabrics of all kinds, my drawing, and an idea: create unisex clothing for babies. My mother and I created unique pieces for each one of my friends, and the excitement was instantaneous!
A few days later, I explained my project on Facebook and Little Yogi charmed thousands of subscribers in just a few hours. Six months later, I left behind my career as a therapist and all my years of study to devote myself body and soul to build of my company, my “first baby”: Little Yogi.

Our Little Yogis are mostly sold online and can be ordered anywhere in the world. We also sell in some specialized children's boutiques in Quebec.
